SurfAI US Equities in 3 Steps: Search a Ticker, Check Filings, Ask AI
A practical 3-step workflow for SurfAI's US Equities feature: search a ticker, check filings, ask follow-up questions on the same page, and save results as CSV
This is a faithful walkthrough of a workflow shared by original author @ramztd (Ramz) on X on October 9, 2026. He discovered it while looking for exchange-related material, and it works well as a repeatable starting routine for US equity research in SurfAI.

Step 1: Open US Equities, Search a Ticker, Check the Filings Tab
Click US Equities in the left menu bar to enter the US stocks page, then search for the ticker you want. The original author needed Coinbase material, so he typed COIN.
The ticker page shows charts plus financial material and a filings tab. According to the author, tokenized stock prices are also visible on the same screen.
Step 2: Ask Follow-up Questions Right on the Same Ticker Page
Do not stop at the ticker search — type follow-up questions into the question box on the same page. Submitting a question opens a new chat window, and the answer arrives after a short wait.
Because search flows straight into questions without leaving the page, you can immediately dig into any figure or issue you spotted in the filings.
Step 3: Verify the Answer, Tables, and Sources, Then Save as CSV or PNG
The author rates the answers as detailed enough to stand alongside other AI tools. Table-style answers can be downloaded as CSV or PNG, and each figure links back to the original source it came from.
The full routine in short:
- Search a ticker in US Equities and check the filings tab
- Ask deeper questions in the same page's question box
- Verify the answer and keep asking follow-ups
One caveat: this is a single user's hands-on account, so it does not cover official specifications such as plan tiers, supported ticker coverage, or the detailed terms of tokenized stocks. Before making any investment decision, check SurfAI's official guidance and the original filings yourself.
