On October 29, 2026, Divesh Naidoo introduced Reality-Aware Rendering for Simulon on iPhone. According to Naidoo, users can place neural assets with a phone and act out a scene; after recording stops, Simulon renders the take by reading the user's actions, speech, and surroundings so the assets can respond.

The workflow reads the completed recording, including what the user does and says and the place around them, before rendering the take.
Multi-Modal Scene Analysis and Context-Responsive Assets
Reality-Aware Rendering operates by analyzing completed recordings where users act out scenes within their physical surroundings.
Naidoo said Simulon reads the recorded take after recording stops rather than producing the final result during capture.
- Recorded Context: The system reads what the user does, what the user says, and the place around them.
- Dynamic Asset Response: Placed neural assets respond to the user's actions, speech, and surroundings in the recorded take.
- Regenerated Performance: Naidoo said the final output is a new performance of the scene regenerated from the recording, not a copy of the footage.
Post-Capture Rendering Workflow
The workflow renders the take after recording has stopped.
Simulon renders the take after recording stops, so the published workflow is capture-based rather than live playback.
- Post-Capture Rendering: After recording stops, Simulon reads the take and renders the result.
- Regenerated Output: Naidoo described the final as a new performance regenerated from the recording, not a copy of the footage.
- Real-Time Direction: Asked whether Simulon could work in real time, Naidoo replied, "This is where it’s going!" The announced workflow still renders after recording stops.
App Store Availability and Planned Android Rollout
Naidoo said Simulon is available to try for free.
Naidoo said Simulon can be tried for free and is live on the App Store. Reality-Aware Rendering is available now on iPhone, with Android support described as coming soon.
Naidoo described the rendered result as a new performance of the scene rather than a copy of the recorded footage.
