The newly unveiled HomeView is built for situations where hands are busy, combining voice interaction with a dedicated screen. The device provides step-by-step visual guidance for web recipes, voice timer setup, and voice controls for compatible lights and blinds.

Hands-Free Recipe Guidance and Smart Home Voice Control

HomeView is designed to address the inconvenience of checking a phone for recipes during cooking:

• Step-by-step web recipe display: Displays recipes fetched from the web in step-by-step stages on screen.
• Voice timer setup: Allows users to set timers hands-free using voice commands.
• Connected smart home controls: Operates compatible lighting and blinds by voice when hands are occupied.

Multi-User Facial Recognition for Up to Six People and Apple Intelligence Hardware Requirements

Designed for shared household environments, HomeView includes multi-user personalization capabilities.

HomeView uses facial recognition to distinguish faces for up to six family members and show their respective tailored screens.

However, accessing personal data requires connected hardware: utilizing personal messages and calendar schedules requires connecting an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence. The device relies on this paired ecosystem connection rather than processing personal messages and calendar data independently.

Pricing, Release Schedule, and Launch Limitations

HomeView is priced at $299 in the United States, with official sales scheduled to begin on November 13, 2026.

Launch constraints include:

• Siri AI language support: Siri AI capabilities will initially be provided as an English beta at launch.
• South Korea availability: An official release schedule for South Korea was not announced.

While the device demonstrates how AI can operate beyond a chat interface in physical domestic spaces, international usability outside English-speaking regions will depend on future language expansion and regional availability.
